The Blog No One Reads…

by Diraven on Jun.16, 2011, under General Chatter

This is an exercise only where I am simply testing WordPress on the root of my domain. I haven’t actually advertised to this blog nor have I really put anything worth while into it.

Sure my sports fan Page is pretty cool and yes maybe for shits and giggles I’ll add more stuff to the blog. I of course have no grandiose plans for this blog.

However,

Since posting this blog I have received over 40 different posts to be approved. Basically posts complementing me on my great input and how helpful and fulfilling my blog has been. A site with no content and I am changing the world one spam bot at a time I suppose.

I find it sad that nearly all circuits of communication have to become clogged up with useless self promotion and advertising. Claiming to agree in sharing a message that really isn’t there.

This little spot on the web is a dead end. No one comes here. This very post will most likely be read by no one. This is my muted shout out to the world and I’m saying no ones home.

I’m sure the spam bots will find this meaningless drabble to be ever so informative and I know there are so many out there that have learned more from reading this blog than anything they found in the library. (These are real comments btw).

So I started a blog site!

by Diraven on May.11, 2011, under General Chatter

Yep that’s right. I started my very own blog site. Not that anyone will ever read it lol.

Basically my wife wanted to use a more up-to-date method to blog and show off her exceptional artwork. So I set up a Word Press site for her. Seems this thing is pretty powerful and yet simple.

My old front page to Diraven.net has never really hand anything of not on it. I usually just work off of subdomains. Usually these are for MMOs.

I joined Facebook some time ago, but in all honesty, all Facebook seems to be is a place where some big corporation can make billions off of your personal images and information while giving you crappy support in return.

It appears that many media personnel have started blogging. It’s easy to do, fast and can be quite effective. Putting up personal webspace has come a long way since I first starting working on sites.

First time I ever edited and posted a webpage I used Notepad as the editor. I think I was working for AOL at the time.

So this is my new blog. Should you find yourself here, feel free to look around. This is more an exercise than anything else.
